“Well, my time came. I look forward to when I see [my wife] Joan and [daughter] Eleanor. Before I leave, I want to say how much you mean for me,” said Mondale in a statement, Which was published after his death. His wife Joan died in 2014, and Eleanor’s daughter – in 2011.
He died on Monday, April 19. The cause of death policy is not yet specified. The family of the former vice-president said that the memorial service would be held in his homeland in Minnesota, and in Washington.

Former US Vice President held a post under the administration of President Jimmy Carter, from 1977 to 1981. Mondale was a member of the Democratic Party.
Mondale was born in 1928 in Minnesota.
