The device received the name Cardlax Earbuds Washer. The device is a square-shaped device with a drum and a lid. The creators of the gadget compare it with a washing machine. The invention is intended for cleaning headphones from ear sulfur and other small sera.
The product description states that before the main cleaning cycle, it is necessary to remove the dirt with a rotating brush. Then the headphones should be put in the Cardlax EarBuds Washer compartment and close the lid. According to the authors of the project, thanks to the movement of the drum, the headphones will touch the walls of the compartment covered with a soft foam material. After the “washing”, the main dirt from the headset will be removed.
The creators of the “washing machine” note that the cleaning process is delicate and cannot harm headphones. Cardlax Earbuds Washer Machine is compatible with many popular headsets. To achieve the best effect, the project authors recommend adding several drops of 70 percent alcohol when cleaning.
By crowdfunding, the project gathered more than 27 thousand dollars with the Cardlax Earbuds Washer to run in the production of five thousand. It was supported by more than 600 Kickstarter participants. The cost of the machine at an early stage is 33 dollars (about 2.5 thousand rubles). The device will be on sale in June.
