British company refused to allow wide-waisted employees to work

The British company DVLA refused to allow wide-waisted employees to work. To find out the measurements of the workers, they were given special questionnaires, writes The Mirror.

So, all employees are required to pass a survey before going to the office, indicating the volume of the abdomen in a separate column. Moreover, the upper limit for women is 84 centimeters, and for men – 101 centimeters. If someone does not fit the required parameters, the company is going to send him on “special paid vacation”.

Several officials have already criticized the company’s policies, citing excessive requirements and the inadmissibility of making the waist size the determining parameter for going to work. In addition, MP Caroline Harris stressed that the requirement to return workers to the office endangers their lives.

Earlier, the Brazilian model Talima Silva revealed the secrets of maintaining a slim figure without plastic surgery. She said that in order to maintain an abnormally thin waist, which is 55 centimeters, she follows a flexitarian diet. Her diet includes salads, fish and potatoes.
