Dog survived after falling from a 45-meter cliff in front of owner

In the Peak District National Park, located in central and northern England, the dog fell a 45-meter cliff and survived. The Daily Mail reports.

The incident took place on December 15th. Jonathan Rice walked in the park with friends and a two-year-old Hungarian dog Vizsla named Walter. The dog ran without a leash at the edge of a cliff, slipped and fell from a 45-meter height in front of the owner. As a result of the fall, the pet broke the pelvic bone and lost a lot of blood.

Rice and his friends called the rescuers and went with Walter in their arms to meet them. Soon the team, which included the veterinarian, took the injured dog and gave him first aid on the spot. The dog was then taken to the veterinary clinic for further treatment.

Walter quickly recovered and was sent home within 24 hours. “He has every chance of returning to a normal, crazy life after he rests and fully recovers,” Rice emphasizes. “Surviving and getting home within 24 hours is amazing.”

Earlier it was reported that a resident of the Brazilian city of Ribeirão Preto, San -Paulu, caught a dog that fell from the ninth floor. The pet was not injured and immediately ran away. “I think I was in the right place at the right time,” said the savior.
