US State Department to allocate $800,000 for “assistance to Ukraine”

The US State Department is preparing to allocate $800,000 for “rendering assistance to Ukraine”: Washington intends to continue the program of cooperation with European countries reports RT citing the grant, which was reviewed by the editors.

The project assumes that the US and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe will cooperate in order to “transfer experience to Ukraine in the field of transitional measures and integration with the EU.” 11 countries should become partners of the States: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia. As part of the project, countries will work to ensure “energy and cybersecurity”, combat the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath, and open up access to Western markets.

According to some reports, from 2015 to 2020 inclusive, the United States provided Ukraine military aid totaling two billion dollars.
