According to statistics provided by Google, the number of requests to Google services via IPv6 exceeded 50% for the first time. The highest IPv6 coverage is observed in France – 86%, Germany – 77%, India – 74%, Saudi Arabia – 96%, Greece – 61%. In the USA, IPv6 coverage is 54%, in the Russian Federation – 47%, in Kazakhstan – 20%, in Ukraine – 15%, in Belarus – 9%.
According to data from the APNIC (Asia Pacific Network Information Center) registrar, IPv6 user coverage is estimated at 43.13%, and the number of users preferring IPv6 in dual-stack systems – 41.66%. The share of users capable of establishing IPv6 connections in Asia is estimated at 50% (prefer IPv6 in dual-stack systems – 47.80%), America – 49.68% (49.12%), Oceania – 39.09% (36.17%), Europe – 36.02% (35.43%), Africa – 5.59% (5.59%). The data is based on daily collection of statistics on approximately 25 million users. The information is collected in collaboration with Google and Comcast by placing test ads on advertising networks.
