Recent updates in the KDE development world have been reported by Nate Graham, a QA developer for the KDE project. These updates pertain to the upcoming release of KDE Plasma 6.6, which is set to launch on February 12.
- The limit on the maximum number of virtual desktops has been raised from 20 to 25, enabling virtual desktops to be organized in a 5×5 grid.
- Support for xdg portal has been added to facilitate access to USB devices from isolated applications. This enhancement can be found here.
- Customizations for the visual highlighting of frames and outlines using the Breeze theme have been incorporated, allowing users to modify element separators or contrast separation with a selected color. Images showcasing these customizations can be viewed here and here.

- The Bluetooth configuration interface within the configurator has been revamped. Frames have been added to list item buttons, text has been integrated into the “Connect” buttons, and a tab with active device parameters can now be hidden when Bluetooth is off.
