Blackout Prep: Mobile Operators Ready Russians for Offline

Russian mobile operators ensure key internet services remain accessible

According to reports from RIA Novosti, Russian mobile operators Beeline and T2 are informing customers about the availability of essential internet services despite communication restrictions. Beeline SMS notifications mention that customers can still access the operator itself, the Public Service portal, Yandex services, VKontakte social network, marketplaces, and other websites. The list of accessible resources is expected to grow gradually.

T2 has also reassured its subscribers that they will have access to messengers, navigation systems, search engines, and other online services while prioritizing safety measures.

Prior to these notifications, Minzifra had compiled a list of 57 internet resources that would remain accessible even in the event of a mobile internet shutdown. The list includes major banks, public services, online shopping platforms, communication services, and news websites.
