War in Ukraine: Civilians take refuge in neighboring countries

Warsaw announced that they have been allowing 115,000 people to all border points since the beginning of the conflict, Thursday, February 24. Poland is the European country with the largest Ukrainian community.

The images shot in the border town of Medyka show many families, with young children, arrive after a long night waiting at the border post. On the other side of the border, some are welcomed by their loved ones. Others benefit from humanitarian aid and donations that are distributed.
