Certification “Northern Flow-2” can be expected by the fly of next year, said Financial analyst and Associate Professor of Economic Sciences Ravgigs Nikolai Kulbak in conversation with “Ribbon.ru”. He noted that on the part of the Federal Network Agency FRG there is no tightening of the deadlines, now there is a normal document verification procedure.
Earlier in the Federal Networking Agency, Germany reported that in the situation with the certification of the operator “Northern Flow-2” at the moment nothing has changed. The representative of the agency recalled that the head of the regulator Johen Homan had previously said that in the first half of 2022, the decision on certification does not expect, and the necessary documents were not reported. According to her, the situation continues to reflect the statements of the department of November 16.
Then the Agency suspended the NORD Stream 2 AG certification as an independent transport operator, justifying these reasons for a legal nature. It was assumed that the process would resume when the company transmits fixed capital concerning the segment in Germany, the German subsidiary. Check will continue when new documents arrive.

The project is beneficial primarily in Germany, the economist noted, so their side to prevent the certification of “Northern Flow-2” is not logical. “Nobody pulls anything. The certification time has changed due to the fact that Russia does not correctly raise the documents and will now redo. It will actually be for the summer at best,” added Kolbak.
He said that the verification procedure was engaged in an authorized organization, referring to the Federal Network Agency of Germany, whose activities should not be suspected of a political game. “From politicians here, there is no little depends on,” the financial analyst spoke.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, in turn, stated that it was impossible to disrupt the implementation of the “Northern Flow-2”, and gas will be supplied to Europe.
