Gas production in Russia in 2021 will grow approximately ten percent, the head of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Nikolai Schulginov said. In addition, the ministry is ready and forecasts for export growth: delivery abroad will be four percent, writes RIA Novosti.
“Regarding gas production, including gas Natural and passing oil gas, this is 761 billion cubic meters, plus 10-10.5 percent, while exports will increase by four percent,” he said.
Shulginov added that electricity consumption is expected. It is about increasing by 5.4 percent, to a level of 1.106 trillion kilowatt-hours, the minister explained.
Development at the same time will be 1.131 trillion kilowatt-hours. Last year, consumption and production indicators were 1.05 trillion and 1.064 trillion, respectively.
