Japanese Prime Minister wanted to meet with Biden

Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kisida, the leader of the ruling liberal-democratic party (LDP), wanted to meet with US President Joe Biden. He spoke about his plans in an interview with the Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Simbun (Yomiuri).

“I would like to give a visit to the US and meet with Biden. I will strive to ensure that it happens rather, even by the end of the year,” said Prime Minister.

In the same interview, he made it possible to apply preventive strikes on the enemy bases as part of the revision of the National Defense Strategy, aimed at developing the capacity of Japanese troops.

Earlier in Japan, they wanted to update the composition of the government, the Emperor of Japan’s Niphito dismissed the lower chamber of the country’s parliament. Kisida said that the start of the election campaign was scheduled for October 19. Elections to the lower chamber of parliament will be held on October 31, previous elections at this level were held on October 22, 2017.
