Kim Jong Yun declared threat of hunger in DPRK

The leader of the DPRK Kim Chen Yun, speaking at the Plenum of the Central Committee of the Korea Labor Party (TPK), announced a possible threat of hunger in the country. According to him, the intense situation with food has developed because of the Typhoon in 2020, the TASS reports.

Head of North Korea said that last year’s Typhoon prevented a plan for growing grain. Therefore, in the country there is a tense situation with the provision of food.

Kim Chen Yun believes that they aggravated the situation and measures introduced in the country against the proliferation of coronavirus. In his opinion, the adopted restrictions were tightened “the struggle for providing the population with clothing, food and housing.”

It is noted that the leader of the DPRK allegedly called on the party and residents of the country to be ready for a new “hard campaign”. Under ETMM, the term is understood to the 1990s, when the country was in a serious economic crisis, accompanied by mass hunger.

Earlier, Kim Chen Yun called the situation in North Korea “the most difficult in history.” However, the country entered a new era, going beyond the period of “protection and self-preservation”, so it needs radical progress, change and growth rates.
