First region in Russia introduced a lockdown

The Republic of Buryatia has introduced a lockdown for two weeks due to the situation with the coronavirus. This was stated by the head of the region Alexei Tsydenov, reports “Kommersant”.

All trade and public catering establishments are being closed, including shopping centers, cafes and restaurants, as well as beauty salons, fitness clubs. Restrictions do not apply to catering establishments on the territory of enterprises and hotels, grocery stores, pharmacies, communication salons, as well as retail trade in essential goods.
