An eight-year-old girl fell into a 15-meter well and spent 45 minutes there

A girl from the American County of Riverside, California, fell into a deep well of water and spent 45 minutes there until she was rescued, reports the site NBC TV channel Los Angeles.

On Friday, November 13th, eight-year-old Lilly Faith Gadbois fell into a well in her yard. The girl accidentally stepped on a wooden plank that covered the hole in the ground and fell to a depth of 15 meters.

Lilly’s mother, Michelle Gadbois, realized something was wrong when her daughter stopped answering her radio. “We looked for her everywhere. It turned out that she was in a well, the existence of which we did not even know until it happened,” she said.

Gadbois emphasized that the girl was so deep that she could hardly hear her screams. “Thank God the water softened her fall,” said the mother. Lilly was able to stay on the surface by clinging to the pipe. The frightened girl from the well screamed to her mother that she loved her.

A few minutes later, firefighters arrived at the scene. “We had to think quickly, and we dropped the rope. We explained to her how to tie it around us. She was ready to climb,” said the rescuer.

45 minutes after the fall, Lilly was back on the surface. The girl had scratches all over her body, but she was not seriously injured.

Due to the psychological trauma, the family plans to move.

Earlier it was reported that a boy from the American state of Pennsylvania fell into a six-meter well while playing hide and seek. The child was rescued by volunteer firefighters who arrived at the scene a few minutes later in private vehicles.
