Ukrainian servicemen will be forced to learn English in order to achieve compatibility of the army with the standards of NATO . A message about this is available at site Ministry of Defense .
“Learning English by personnel is an integral part of the implementation of a new military culture in the Armed Forces of Ukraine based on Euro-Atlantic values and principles,” the statement said. The ministry will adopt a new catalog of military posts, indicating the requirements for basic education and proficiency in English.
It is also noted that courses will be organized exclusively in English for the military who are sufficiently fluent in the language.
