US President-elect Joe Biden urged to respond to “challenges” from outside Russia and China. He stated this following a briefing with experts in the field of national security, reports RIA Novosti .

According to him, the United States must adapt defense priorities against the backdrop of growing “strategic complexities” allegedly created by Russia and China.

“We talked about the different strategic challenges that we will face from Russia and China, and the reforms that we need to carry out in order to meet these challenges in the strongest possible position,” he said.

Biden added that the reforms involve “renewing defense priorities.” Thus, the US intends to “better fight back aggression in the future.” According to him, the United States intends to rethink the growing threats in new areas, “such as cyberspace”.

Earlier, Biden complained about obstacles in the transfer of power by Pentagon .
