Golikova revealed differences between Russian vaccines against coronavirus

Vice Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova in an interview RIA Novosti stated that Russian vaccines against coronavirus are different, but both are effective.

According to her, Sputnik V and EpiVacCorona vaccines against COVID-19 are both good, there are no side effects. However, Vide-Prime noted the difference – the former may be slightly more reactogenic.

Golikova revealed that the drugs are completely different – one vector based on adenovirus, and the other peptide, which is made from three constituent parts of the COVID-19 genome, the most resistant to mutation. She added that Russian vaccines have not yet received any negative feedback on their use.

Earlier, Golikova insisted on the need to abstain from alcohol for several days during vaccination from the coronavirus. According to her, the body needs to adapt to foreign agents. In this regard, she recommended the Russians to help the body and not load it with such stress for the immune system as alcohol.

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin announced the registration of Sputnik V on August 11 … The development of the Gamaleya Center became the world’s first registered vaccine against COVID-19. At the moment, Russia has also registered the EpiVacCorona coronavirus vaccine from the Vector Center. In addition, a third drug is under development; the Chumakov Center is working on it.
