Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova insisted on the need to refrain from alcohol on several days when vaccinated against coronavirus. She spoke about this in an interview with RIA Novosti .

According to her, during the period of receiving the drug, it is necessary to feel sorry for the body and “be patient a little.” “This is not even because it is harmful or useful. We understand that the body must adapt to foreign agents, to what” attacks “its immune system,” the Deputy Prime Minister explained.

In this regard, she recommended that Russians help the body and not load it with such stress for the immune system as alcohol.

At the beginning of December, chapter Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova named the period of abstinence from alcoholic beverages before the COVID-19 vaccination. According to her, at least two weeks before vaccination against coronavirus and 42 days after, alcohol should not be taken. It is also not recommended to smoke before and after the administration of the drug, as it greatly irritates the lungs. Popova urged Russians to reduce stress on the body before immunization by refraining from alcohol and cigarettes.
