Release of Otter 1.0.2 web browser with an Opera 12-style interface

One year after the last release free web browser release available Otter 1.0.2 , aimed at recreating the classic Opera 12 interface, independent of specific browser engines and aimed at advanced users who do not accept the trend of simplified interface and reduced customization. The browser is written in C ++ using the Qt5 library (without QML). The sources are available under the GPLv3 license. Binary assemblies prepared for Linux (AppImage package), macOS and Windows.

The new release includes only bug fixes found in the first stable release published a year ago. Optimization of processing large images when used as wallpaper on the start page has been carried out. Improved checksums for content blocking profiles. The translation files have been updated.


The main features of Otter:
