Handcuffed Ukrainian woman found dead in Turkey

A 25-year-old citizen of Ukraine was found dead in the Turkish city of Bodrum in the province of Mugla, according to the Milliyet edition.

According to the newspaper, the woman’s body was found on January 2 in a villa she rented. At the same time, the Ukrainian woman was handcuffed to a chair. It is noted that by the time her body was found, the woman had been dead for several days.

As established by the police, on December 31, the Ukrainian woman ordered food for herself and never left the house again. The law enforcement agencies of Turkey were contacted by her mother, who could not get through to her daughter from Ukraine.

Currently, suicide is considered the main cause of death for women. According to police, all three door locks in the villa were locked from the inside, while iron bars were installed on the windows of the house, so it was impossible to get into it from the outside. In addition, a number of clues were found at the scene, indicating that the deceased may have attempted suicide.

As Milliyet writes, the woman suffered from severe headaches for a long time and often went to Ukraine for treatment.
