Eight people died in an accident on the Yenisei highway in Tuva, TASS reported in Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic. As noted by Telegram -channel “112”, this is the first serious road accident in Russia in 2021.
According to police, two cars collided. Seven people died at the scene of the accident, and one more died while being transported to the hospital. Two more people were hospitalized.
There were five people in both cars. “Previously, both drivers were killed,” the police added.
As Interfax specifies, the accident occurred in the Ulug-Khem region of Tuva, and the company people in both cars were sent to visit neighboring villages.
