Russians were warned about new rules of technical inspection

The Russians were warned about the new rules of technical inspection, which will take effect in the country from March 1, 2021. Changes have been made to the federal law “On technical inspection of vehicles and on amendments to certain legislative acts of Russia”, writes RIA Novosti citing the updated document.

According to the new regulations, the inspection of the car will be recorded on a camera. The data will start uploading to the unified automated technical inspection information system. It will also receive information about the location of the car, data on the date, time of the beginning and end of the inspection. The diagnostic card issued in this way will be certified by the electronic signature of the technical expert who carried out the inspection.

In the fall of 2020 in Russia changed the rules for purchasing OSAGO policies. From the end of October, they can be purchased using financial platforms, the so-called marketplaces. The price of the policy purchased in this way is calculated through the site and must correspond to the price on the official website of the insurance company.
