A citizen of Ukraine released in Libya together with the Russians was not allowed into Russia. This was announced by the head of the Fund for the Protection of National Values ​​ Alexander Malkevich , reports RIA Novosti .

As Malkevich explained, Ukrainian Volodymyr Davtyan will not be allowed to cross the border, since he has no documents and is a citizen of a foreign state. “Legally, this is correct,” he said, adding that the Ukrainian embassy should help the sailor.

The release of Russians and Ukrainians from Libyan captivity it became known earlier. The Government of National Accord (GNA) of Libya denied the fact of abduction and stated that their authorities arrested for violating the water border. On January 3, the sailors arrived in Moscow.
