Russia: rules for admission to universities have been adjusted

The government has adjusted the procedure for admission to higher educational institutions, approving the procedure for the work of the state super service “Admission to a university online”. The corresponding resolution was signed by the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin .

Now applicants can submit documents for admission online and watch the progress of the admission campaign remotely.

According to the document, responsibility for the operation of the super service is assigned to the Ministry of Higher Education and Digital Development, as well as Federal service for supervision in the field of education and science . The authorities will have to ensure that applicants to higher education institutions can send an application for admission using the portal of public services, as well as send all the necessary documents. At the same time, Russians will confirm their actions with an electronic signature.

In addition, by October 30, departments will have to submit reports to the government, reporting on the results of their work.

Earlier, Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov called the condition for the return of Moscow schoolchildren to full-time education. The head of the department noted that everything depends on the epidemic situation.
