Former US President Barack Obama accused the current American leader Donald Trump in inciting violence. He stated this in his Twitter -account.
“History will rightly remember today’s violence in the Capitol, fueled by the incumbent president, who continued to lie groundlessly about the results of legitimate elections, as a moment of great dishonor and shame for our entire country,” Obama wrote.
The politician believes that The Republican Party has not wanted to telling your supporters the truth about the elections, this led to such consequences.
Protesters broke into the Capitol building and surrounded the Senate Hall on January 6. The Senate and House of Representatives have interrupted the meeting, which was planned to approve the results of the electoral college vote. According to these results, the Democrat Joe Biden won the presidential elections. Trump himself has called on supporters to act peacefully and support the police. The Washington Capitol building was later cleared of protesters.
