The head of the Unison somnological service, neurologist-somnologist Elena Tsareva told how to get back to work after the holidays in a conversation with RBC.

According to her, it is necessary to start with a fixed ascent time. “It is advisable to save it immediately after the New Year, that is, after the celebration, get up at the same time as usual – this will seriously help,” she said.

Also, the specialist advised to make up for the sleep deficit with the help of daytime sleep, or to accumulate drowsiness, which will help to fall asleep on time at night. The somnologist noted that for every hour of displacement of the life biorhythm, there is a day of adaptation.

“Digestion can change: those who don’t get enough sleep are more inclined to overeat junk food in the evening,” Tsareva warned.

Earlier, doctors advised not to stay up late on the eve of work, but the morning of the first worker start the day with a warm shower. Also, according to them, green tea with a piece of chocolate will give vigor and help start the vascular system. To freshen up will help to overcome part of the way to work on foot, added experts.
