At least six people died in an accident in the Smolensk region. This was announced by a representative of the regional MIA Administration , reports RIA Novosti .
According to the police, the accident occurred on the 16th kilometer of the southwestern bypass of the city of Smolensk. According to preliminary information, Hyundai collided with a GAZ car, which was moving ahead in the same direction. After that, the driver of the foreign car lost control and drove into the oncoming lane, where a collision with a VAZ-2115 car occurred.
As a result, two women in Hyundai died – a driver and a passenger, as well as a man at the wheel of a VAZ and three passengers – a man and two women – who were traveling with him.
