Seven people died in a fire in an illegal Russian nursing home

In the village of Borovsky, Tyumen region, seven people died in a fire in a private house. The governor of the region said about this on his page in Instagram Alexander Moor .

In Emergencies Ministry stated that the message about the fire arrived at the service at 16:53 January 9. When firefighters arrived at the scene, the fire engulfed the entire area of ​​the three outbuildings. The fire was contained at 17:42. 55 people and 21 pieces of equipment took part in extinguishing.

According to the source TASS in emergency services, in the building where the fire occurred, an illegal house worked elderly.

“The house with buildings was adapted as a private nursing home. They provided accommodation and care services for the elderly. All the victims are residents of this house,” the agency’s source said, adding that the building was not registered as a nursing home. /

A criminal case was initiated under part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Causing death by negligence of two or more persons”).

Earlier, a fire in a nursing home in the village of Ishbuldino (Bashkiria) took away lives 11 people. Possible causes of a fire are careless fire handling or faulty electrical wiring.

The fire happened in a one-story wooden building. Four guests of the boarding house managed to leave the premises on their own, three more were taken out by the employees of the institution. The rest of the residents were lying and could not get out on their own.
