Ukraine: protesters blocked highway due to rising gas prices

Previously, a similar action was carried out on the Kiev-Kharkov highway in Poltava area.

In January Naftogaz increased the price of gas for the population by 14 percent – up to 7.22 hryvnia per cubic meter with VAT and excluding distribution costs. Also at the end of December government of Ukraine canceled the reduced electricity tariff for the population.
