Former investigator Pyotr Triboy, who investigated the murder of the TV presenter and the head of ORT Vladislav Listyev , died due to pneumonia caused by coronavirus. State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein announced this in Twitter

According to the deputy, death occurred on the evening of January 7 in the hospital. The funeral is likely to take place next week, he added.
Triboy has worked in the investigative bodies of the USSR and Russia since 1980. In 2001, he resigned from the Prosecutor General’s Office and became a lawyer.
