The Russians named the most annoying factors for the New Year, reports RIA Novosti citing a survey conducted by SuperJob.

According to the online service, most of all Russian residents are annoyed by the clown of petards: 16 percent of respondents chose this option. Parents of small children and pet owners were especially unhappy with loud noises.

At the same time, ten percent of Russians said that they do not like too much alcohol and drunk people. Also, the Russians are unhappy with the fact that on New Year’s Eve there will be “Blue Lights” again on TV with the same artists. At the same time, only 30 percent of respondents said that nothing pisses them off on the New Year.

Previously, scientists called a way to make up for the lack of the hormone of happiness on New Year’s holidays. According to experts, food can become one of the levers of influence on mood. They advise including protein foods that are rich in tryptophan, an amino acid that is the precursor to the happiness hormone serotonin.
