All-Russian public organization of veterans “Combat Brotherhood” summed up the results of 2020, during which more than 30 thousand events were held, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. With the support of the Presidential Grants Fund, the project “From Common Victory to Common Peace!” The rally started in Vladivostok and ended in Moscow – over 100 thousand people took part in the event.
The regional branches of the organization held 7937 patriotic events. “Our veterans have conducted more than 4,000 lessons of courage with schoolchildren,” the message says.
“The” Combat Brotherhood “volunteer company” established regional branches in 43 regions of Russia during the year. Two search expeditions “Rzhev. Kalinin Front” were carried out, in which more than 400 volunteers took part. The search engines of the volunteer unit recovered 38 remains of soldiers, three of them were named.
Members of the organization helped 38,600 elderly people with food and medicine, 101,400 masks, 61,000 gloves, 4,000 antiseptics were issued. Events in the social sphere were also carried out, free legal aid and support were provided to veterans, 9 humanitarian landings were made to Syria, medical workers were assisted.
Deputy Chairman of the organization, deputy State Duma Dmitry Sablin also spoke about the priorities for 2021. “Analyzing the situation in Belarus, we understand that this so-called public indignation has its own curators and their task is not only to create chaos in Minsk, but also to embroil our fraternal peoples. It was to prevent such a situation that the Anti-Maidan movement was created several years ago. Now we see that 2021 in some heads will be devoted to this. These Western puppeteers have enough puppets who are ready to sell their homeland for little. Every day I have been meeting with a large number of patriotic organizations and communities, and so, we will not allow no unrest on the streets of our country, “he said.
