PlayStation 5 disappeared from Russian stores

Russian stores have begun to remove references to the new generation of Sony consoles from their websites. In particular, the PS5 page has disappeared from M.Video website .

If you go to direct link to PlayStation 5 in the store, then the site will show the error “No results were found for your request.” At the same time, the M.Video website contains promo page with a console, on which states that all items have been sold out. It also says that the delivery of the set-top box begins on December 20, but the date of receipt of the new batch of devices is unknown. “We are trying our best to ensure that customers receive the console in December as early as possible, but shipping dates may be rescheduled,” read the PS5 page.

At the same time, on the site “Eldorado”, which together with “M.Video” is included in the same group, separate pages are available for the classic PlayStation 5 model and the version without a disk drive. However, consoles cannot be purchased. The page dedicated to PS5 has also disappeared from the site of the 1C-Interest store.

24 December “M.Video” announced in its community in ” VKontakte “that the new generation consoles from Sony will be available for purchase by the end of the year. The company noted that both the classic PS5 model with a floppy drive and the digital version (Digital Edition) will be available. Representatives of M.Video recommended to wait for the appearance of consoles on sale and not to purchase PS5 from dealers.

Sony PlayStation 5 went on sale November 19. The basic version of the console was estimated at 46,999 rubles, the model without a floppy drive – at 37 999 rubles. Early buyers could purchase a Sony set-top box via pre-order.
