Woman has lost 101 kilograms and has changed beyond recognition

A resident of the Australian city of Brisbane, Queensland, has lost 101 kilograms in three years and has changed beyond recognition, reports The Mirror.

Rikky-Leigh Johnson, a mother of three, began to abuse food to calm herself during a failed relationship. As a result, the Australian gained weight up to 177 kilograms. She was inactive and enjoyed eating chocolate, chips, caramel and deep-fried foods.

Johnson revealed that her self-esteem hit rock bottom in December 2016 when she saw herself in Christmas photos. In 2017, the woman completely changed her diet. She began to choose healthy, protein-rich and plant-based foods. Johnson started going to the gym and working out with a personal trainer. As a result, she managed to lose 101 kilograms.

“Now I look completely different and feel healthier and happier. The decision to lose weight was the best decision I have ever made,” said the Australian, who now weighs 76 kilograms.

“I hated my excess weight. Strangers constantly condemned me, I always sweated, and beautiful clothes never suited me. I could not run with my children and suffered from shortness of breath,” she said. According to Johnson, there were no magic tricks involved in her weight loss, just hard work.

“I want to share my story to show others that there is hope. The decision to change my diet and start exercising has changed my life. I don’t even recognize the person I used to be. If I could lose weight, who can do it whatever, “she said.

Previously it was reported that a student from the Indian city of Latour, Maharashtra state, switched from the usual food to vegetables and fruits and in three months lost 20 kilograms. The young man started jogging and exercising with free weights, and also completely changed his diet.
