Bus ran over former Miss World and killed her

Former Miss World winner, model Norma Cappagli, has died in an accident in her hometown. The Daily Mail reports.

On Thursday, December 17, the vehicle ran over 81-year-old Cappaglia at a bus stop outside her home in Buenos Aires, Argentina. On December 23, she died in hospital from her injuries.

The bus that killed the model was driven by a 28-year-old driver, whose name is still unknown. The man was arrested at the scene and the vehicle was confiscated by the authorities for further investigation.

“I emphasize that she died due to being shot down and not for any other reason. COVID-19 did not affect her in any way despite the ongoing pandemic and she is now dead due to negligence the bus driver. We are depressed, “commented the niece of the deceased Carla Cappagli.

Norma Gladys Cappagli is an Argentinean model who won the Miss World competition in 1960. She became the first Argentinean to win this title. The competition was held in London, as a prize she was awarded £ 500 and a sports car.
