Doctor gave advice on how to protect against “harmful radiation” of smartphone

Neurosurgeon Marat Yakupov gave advice on how to protect yourself from the “harmful radiation” of your smartphone. He told Prime agency that the degree of harm is determined by how often a person uses the device and how close it is to it during the day.

“Due to the constant use of smartphones, and hence the frequent negative effects of electromagnetic radiation on human living tissues, frequent headaches, daytime sleepiness, increased irritability and fatigue may occur,” the doctor warned.

Yakupov explained that the more powerful the source of electromagnetic radiation, the higher the risk of genetic mutations in the nuclei of cells. According to him, such mutations can lead to cancer. Also, radiation provokes heating of internal tissues, they are absorbed by “the retina of the eye, the brain, structures of the auditory, vestibular and visual apparatus.”

The neurosurgeon advised not to use the device too often and not to put it next to you, and during the day not to carry the device in your pockets. When buying a smartphone, he urged to choose the model with the lowest power.

“If it is necessary to conduct negotiations, do not forget about the recommended break of 15 minutes. It is better to turn off the phone at night. There should be no night conversations, and the alarm goes off even when the device is turned off,” Yakupov explained and added that the device should be brought to the head it is better only after the called subscriber answers. According to him, the challenge mode is the strongest period of harmful radiation.

Earlier in December, a neurologist “CM-Clinic” Maria Ignatova explained the danger of sleeping next to a smartphone. She noted that smartphones, like all gadgets, have radio frequency radiation, which is absorbed by the tissues of the human body and, as a result, negatively affects his health.
