A fashion model and former footballer sued the hospital for an unsuccessful surgical procedure that left a disfigured hand. The Daily Mail reports.

Australian Zaine Alan Pringle injured his left finger while playing football in 2017. The athlete needed an operation, which doctors performed a year after the injury at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in the British city of Harlow.

The victim filed a lawsuit against hospital staff for negligence during the operation. In addition, the 28-year-old model demanded compensation in the amount of 592 thousand dollars (43 million rubles).
