Biden gets electoral votes needed to win

US presidential candidate Joseph Biden received the electoral college votes needed to victory in the presidential race. This is evidenced by the data on the official website of the presidential election.

Biden received 55 electoral votes in the state of California, thus gaining 302 votes. To win the presidential race, you need to get 270 electoral votes.

The US Electoral College elects the US President and Vice President – the only two US officials to be elected in federal elections. Currently the number of electors is 538.

Earlier, Biden announced a speech in honor of the election victory. He noted that the elections were fair and will call the people to unity. Biden will also call to fight the pandemic and develop a package of measures to support the economy.
