The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov spoke about cases of re-infection with coronavirus in the country , reports UNIAN .
“We began to record such patients who are suffering from COVID-19 for the second time, both in the Chernivtsi region, and in the Kirovograd region, and in other regions,” Stepanov said.
According to the minister, such patients had the first time 3-5 months ago.
As of December 11, a record number of deaths due to complications caused by coronavirus was recorded in Ukraine per day – 285. 13,514 new infected people were identified, 15,327 people recovered.
From January 8 to January 24, a regime of strict quarantine restrictions will operate in Ukraine. Previously, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal boasted weekend quarantine experience.
