Ukraine has recorded a record death rate from coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic. This was reported on Wednesday, December 9, by Interfax-Ukraine .
Over the past day, 276 patients have died. Most of the deaths were registered in Kiev (34) and the Dnipropetrovsk region (32).
In total, over the past day, 12,585 cases of coronavirus were detected. Most infected were found in Kiev (1728), Odessa (1270), Kiev (943), Cherkasy (815) and Zaporozhye (813) regions.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 845 343 people infected with coronavirus have been identified. 14,204 patients died, 451,118 recovered.
Earlier in government of Ukraine called the possible timing of the introduction of strict quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic. “There will be no lockdown until the end of December, and from the beginning of January we recommend introducing a strict quarantine,” the Minister of Health said Maxim Stepanov .
