Expert called signs of imminent “death” of smartphone

The Director General of ANO Digital Platforms Arseny Shcheltsin called the agency Prime signs that your phone might be out of order soon.

According to him, the smartphone may completely fail if the device is deformed, the battery does not hold a charge well, the device heats up or the touch panel does not work correctly. The expert also pointed out that signs of the imminent “death” of a smartphone may be poor performance of the touch panel, speakers and microphone, loss of connection or incorrect operation of modules.

Shcheltsin concluded that all these problems, as a rule, are associated with physical or software deformation of the device. Moreover, in most cases, such problems can be solved.

Previously Head of Hi-Tech Mail.ru Dmitry Ryabinin named the date within which the smartphone should be replaced. The expert noted that, on average, smartphone users change them about once every three years. The reason for this, he said, is the fact that the new gadgets are similar to each other, but they do not have new “chips” that could push the user to buy. He stressed that using a smartphone for more than three years entails a decrease in work without recharging, since the battery degrades during this period.
