Police caught MEP at night orgy in Belgium

The Belgian police appeared on a call to a night party in a bar in Brussels, violating quarantine rules, and found an orgy with several dozen participants, including an unnamed deputy European Parliament , reports the European branch of Politico, citing local media.

It is reported that upon arrival, the police saw about 25 naked people who did not follow the rules prescribed by state measures against the coronavirus epidemic. Some tried to escape but were detained. Among them, according to sources, there was also a deputy of the international legislative body.

The politician told the police that he had immunity, but they reminded him that this law does not work if the deputy was caught red-handed. The European Parliament has not confirmed information about any ongoing investigation. The police did not disclose his identity, however, it is known that soon after the illegal party was reported, the representative of the Hungarian Fidesz party, Jozsef Sayer, was dismissed. According to Reuters, the former MP confirmed the resignation was related to the party.

It is reported that the participants were released after the administrative protocols were drawn up. In addition to alcohol, illegal psychoactive substances were also found at the party.

According to the current rules, there is a curfew in Brussels and it is forbidden to gather in groups of more than four people. According to the Johns Hopkins Institute on December 1, more than 577 thousand cases of coronavirus infection and 16 thousand related deaths have been recorded in the country.
