A special version of Windows for weak computers is revealed

In 2021 Microsoft will release a special version of Windows for budget computers, reports the Windows Latest edition.

The journalists found out that the operating system for PCs with two screens – Windows 10X – will have a special version designed for weak computers. This system was developed under the name Windows Lite, but in the end, the corporation’s managers decided to abandon it. The OS is based on Windows Core OS and differs from other Microsoft operating systems by the lack of a Start menu. Instead, the Quick Launch for Applications and Services will be centered on the desktop.

Also, the new OS has a brighter and more contrasting interface design and some design differences. Windows 10X is optimized for devices with up to four gigabytes of RAM. It is reported that in the future, the operating system will support computers with more RAM capacity. It will also likely receive support for Windows Universal Drivers.

The first versions of the lightweight OS will appear in the spring of 2021 and will have support for only one screen. Then Microsoft will release an operating system with support for multiple desktops. It is reported that Windows 10X will boot “out of the box” on computers of Microsoft partners, that is, it will not be possible to install the system legally on other PCs.
