Adviser to Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Hossein Dehkan promised to avenge the murder of a high-ranking nuclear scientist, one of the founders of the country’s nuclear program, Muhsin Fakhrizadeh, reports Reuters .
“We will strike the murderers of the martyr like thunder,” wrote a close associate of the Iranian leader. Dehkan added that Tehran will make them regret what they did.
Earlier it was reported that Fakhrizade became a victim of a terrorist attack in the village of Absard near the Iranian capital.
