Prince William and Kate Middleton reported death of “family heart”

Duke of Cambridge Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton on her page in Instagram have reported the death of their dog Lupo.

“Unfortunately, our dear dog Lupo passed away last weekend. He has been the heart of our family for the past nine years, and we will miss him very much,” says the caption to the picture of the deceased pet.

Lupo has often featured in family photographs of members of the royal family. The English Cocker Spaniel was born from a dog owned by Michael and Carol Middleton , parents Kate. It was donated to William and Kate’s wedding in 2011 and is believed to have helped them choose a name for Prince George. As Daily Mail writes, the couple scattered notes with different names on the floor, and Lupo chose one of them. Kate Middleton named Lupo after her paternal great-grandmother, née Olive Christiane Lupton.

In early November it became known that Prince William had COVID in April -19, but kept it a secret so as not to disturb the British people. The duke was treated by the palace doctors, and, following the instructions, he was isolated in the family home Anmer Hall a> in Norfolk, where he continued to work remotely.
