Nutritionist shared a delicious potato recipe with an unusual ingredient

Australian nutritionist Laura Ford shared her recipe for delicious chips that require an unusual ingredient. The Daily Mail writes about this.

Ford recommends using red-skinned young potatoes. According to her, two kilograms of potatoes should be peeled, cut into 1-inch slices, placed in boiling water and cooked for four to five minutes.

While it’s cooking, you need to preheat the oven to 200 degrees, and then grease a baking sheet with two tablespoons of unrefined olive oil and 50 grams of butter. The slices of boiled potatoes must be carefully laid out on top of them so that they do not touch each other, and then turned so that they are covered with olive oil on all sides.

Potatoes should be placed in the oven, sprinkled with universal seasoning, salt and pepper. After 30 minutes, you will have to turn it over, and then put it in the oven for another 25-30 minutes. There is one last ingredient that Ford considers very important: while the potatoes are hot, you need to apply one or two tablespoons of honey to it. “I apologize in advance, because now you just won’t be able to stop when you eat,” the nutritionist jokes.

Previously famous Australian chef Rob Nixon described the recipe for the perfect mashed potatoes. He argues that the most important step is preparing milk. The Australian pours it into a saucepan, puts it on high heat and adds potato peels. It is in them, in his opinion, that the secret of the dish lies.
