Hairdresser groped a suspicious lump behind client’s ear and saved him from cancer

In the English city of Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire, a hairdresser noticed a strange bump on the client’s head and referred him to a doctor. It turned out to be a malignant tumor, LADBible reports.

82-year-old James Mackenzie came to the hairdresser Kerrin Taylor for a regular haircut, and the specialist discovered a suspicious growth over the ear of a regular client. She informed him about this and offered to go to the therapist, but he only brushed it off.

The persistent hairdresser told another client about this, a friend of the Mackenzie family. He passed on her words to James’ daughter, Claire. The woman insisted that his father still go to the doctor. The neoplasm turned out to be basal cell carcinoma – a type of skin cancer. The therapist told James that he was on time and scheduled him to have surgery to remove the tumor shortly.

Claire thanked Taylor for saving her father from cancer. The British noted that the hairdresser was always kind to her father. “When my mother died, she gave him his first haircut for free. I think it was because he looked very lost. My mother always cut him, and I don’t think he ever went to the hairdresser,” Claire said.

Earlier, a 54-year-old resident of the English city of McKelsfield said that the New Year’s campaign to a nail salon saved her from a fatal illness. During the procedure, the manicurist noticed a mole on the client’s chest, which seemed suspicious to her, and suggested that she undergo an examination. The British woman was diagnosed with melanoma.
