Employees mobilized for a month at GRDF for an increase in wages voted for the renewal of the social movement, Thursday 1 er December, at the call of the CGT. “Our Federation has filed a new strike notice”, until February 3, told the Agency France-Presse Eric Gautier, CGT coordinator for the company.

The social movement was at the height Thursday in Ile-de-France, where several hundred homes were deprived of a gas connection for more than five days according to management. “It also slows the activity in the provinces”, according to the CGT which claimed “around forty sites occupied or filtered out of three hundred and fifteen” throughout the territory.

Several thousands of users of the manager of the gas network have also been passed in free mode the same day by the strikers mobilized in Marseille (Mouth-du-Rhône), in the surroundings of Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de -Dôme) and in the department of Var.

rejection of a salary agreement concluded by the other unions

majority in the company with 48 % of the votes, the CGT mobilizes in rejection of a salary agreement signed on November 18 by the other three representative trade union organizations (CFDT, CFE-Energie, FO) with management and demands A renegotiation, in vain until now.

The salary agreement provides in particular 2.3 % increase for all, retroactive at 1 er July, in addition to an increase in the basic national salary obtained at the level of the branch, of the order of 4 %.

The CGT, for its part, claims 4.6 % increase for all for 2022 and 2.3 % in 2023, as well as individual and complementary measures for low wages. “There will be no new negotiations returning to the systems of this agreement,” said GRDF management in response.

She nevertheless said herself “aware that the themes of expensive life require other exchanges”, inviting the four union organizations to meet again with her on Wednesday, December 7 on this subject.

In a leaflet of its Marseille federation distributed Thursday, the CGT thus criticizes the management for playing “the rotting of the strike which has lasted for more than three weeks”. The latter therefore announces in response to it in response “the transition to free of more than six thousand gas users in a popular” city district.

Similar actions were carried out in the Var, where seven hundred customers were gone free as well as around Clermont-Ferrand where six thousand households benefited from this coup of the employees mobilized, according to Mr. Gautier. The management of GRDF, however, claims not to be able to confirm these actions.

A gas technician member of the CGT was also assigned to court and appeared in the court this Thursday in Saint-Etienne. “The management accuses him of having been a leader on a blockage while the site was filtered,” says Eric Gautier. The management of the gas manager has also filed a dozen complaints for degradations of equipment and vehicle during this movement.

The other representative unions complain for their part to have suffered “threats, intimidation and insults”, according to UNSA, just like “physical or psychological violence” exerted on non -striking employees, according to a leaflet spouse CFE-CGC, CFDT, FO.
