Minzifra will receive the right to request from the companies data on a challenge on the basis of citizens’ appeal through the Public Service portal. Such a norm is contained in the amendments to the law on the connection prepared by senators, led by a member of the Committee on Constitutional Law, Artem Sheikin, writes Vedomosti.
The list of information that the telecom operator will have to provide, includes information about the number that accompanied the call, about the fact of passing telephone traffic or the fact of the provision of communication services to the subscriber indicating the date and time, as well as information about the operator that participated in the establishment of compounds.
The specified information will help identify the entire chain of operators who participated in the call of the call to the subscriber who encountered fraud, and determine the operator who allowed the substitution of the number, the explanatory note to the document says.
It is clarified that in case of confirmation of the fact of the substitution of the number, the telecom operator who made such a call, they can be fined up to 1 million rubles.
